Israel Ambassador Abba Eban and Arthur Lourie, deputy permanent representative of Israel to the United Nations, spent two days in a visit to the Tennessee Valley Authority at the invitation of the State Department the Israel consulate announced today. All arrangements for the visit were made by the United States Government. This marks the first time that the Ambassador has had an opportunity of seeing this project.
The first copy of a new documentary record, “Israel Is Born, “to be delivered to Prime Minister David Ben Gurion, was presented today to Mr. Lourie. Presentation of the record was made by Arthur Holzman, author-narrator of “Israel Is Born.” Mr. Laurie will take the record for Mr. Ben Gurion with him when he flies to Israel this evening.
