April 19, 1944
See Original Daily Bulletin From This Date

The belief that the Palestine question was touched upon by Assistant Secretary of State Edward R. Stettinius in the course of his conferences with British statesmen here, was expressed today in well-informed circles. The problem of Palestine will also come up for discussion at further talks between Stettinius and British officials, it was predicted. The final communique which will be issued as a result of these talks, however, is not likely to include any mention of Palestine, it was stated.
