Steve Grossman left Howard Dean’s presidential campaign. Dean, the former Vermont governor, made the announcement Monday after media reports said Grossman, Dean’s national co-chairman, would support Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) if Dean lost Tuesday’s Wisconsin primary. Grossman is a former chairman of the Democratic National Committee and former president of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
