The nominations committee of the 47th annual convention of the Independent Order B’rith Abraham witnessed oe of the hottest contests for offices in recent years. The majority of posts were contested.

Louis B. Siegel, first deputy grand master, who would customarily succeed to the office of grand master, is opposed for the highest post by Max Silverstein, New York attorney, who held the position five years ago. Isador Apfel surrenders the office at the close of today’s elections.

Atlantic City, Boston, Buffalo, Cleveland, Chicago, New York, and Saratoga Springs have been nominated as the site for the next convention.
