Mr. and Mrs. Roger N. Straus, 6 East Ninety-third street, will entertain at dinner tomorrow night Dr. Judah L. Magnes, chancellor of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and Dr. Max Schloessinger, associate chancellor, preceding a reception by the American Friends of the Hebrew University to Dr. Magnes and Dr. Schloessinger, at the Waldorf-Astoria. Mr. Straus is chairman of the Reception Committee.
Other guests who are expected to be present include the additional speakers, Professor John Dewey of Columbia University, Dr. John H. Finley, Associate Editor of the New York Times, and Dr. A.S.W. Rosenbach, president of the American Friends of the Hebrew University and Mr. and Mrs. Felix M. Warburg.
