Stronger legislation and prosecution are necessary to combat the resurgence in anti-Semitism in Europe, a European group said. On Monday, the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance, which is part of the Council of Europe, called on its 45 member nations to “ensure that criminal law in the field of combating racism covers anti-Semitism.”
