Students Protest Visit of Luther to Texas U.

The arrival here of Dr. Hans Luther, German Ambassador, who is visiting the University of Texas, was marked by denunciations of the Nazi regime and protests against the persecution of the Jews.

Student anti-Fascists distributed leaflets on the campus criticizing Luther and calling Germany “a country turned into a shambles.” Rabbi Baron attacked the ambassador and the Nazi government in a pulpit address.
