Sugarman Resigns As Bond Chairman in Israel; Resignation Regretted

The resignation of Joseph Sugarman, civic leader in Israel, as chairman in Israel of the Israel Bond Organization, was announced today by Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, vice president of the Development Corporation for Israel, which directs the Israel bond drive.

In his post, Mr. Sugarman was responsible for the activities of the Israel bond organization in Israel, and represented the organization in many of its negotiations with the Government of Israel. “It is with deep regret that we in the Israel Bond Organization accept Joseph Sugarman’s resignation, which he has submitted for personal reasons,” Dr. Schwartz said in making the announcement.
