Supporters of the dovish Tikkun movement met with lawmakers Tuesday in Washington to lobby for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Tikkun leaders say they are working to prevent a backlash in Congress against President Bush’s efforts to pressure both Israel and the Palestinians to make concessions toward peace.
