A new settlement was established in the Negev yesterday by a group of Orthodox youths who survived the Buchenwald concentration camp during the war. The settlers are all members of Poale Agudas Israel.

The thirteenth colony to be established in Western Galilee was dedicated to its Hashomer Hatzair settlers. The colony, located near Acre, is composed of youths from Britain and recent arrivals from Hungary.

A total of nine new settlements were founded in various parts of Israel this week by members of Hashomer Hatzair, Mapai, Hapoel Hamizrachi and Poale Agudas Israel. Four additional colonies will be set up next week.
