Suwalki Rabbi Dies at Rites for No-man’s-land Refugee

Gershon Broido, a rabbi of Suwalki, dropped dead yesterday during a memorial service being held in the town of Kavarija for a refugee who died in the no-man’s-land area between Nazi Poland and Lithuania. Broido himself had spent eight days in the no-man’s-land.
