Swastikas and ‘jew Go Away’ Smeared on Doors in West Berlin

Police continued a hunt today for the vandals who smeared the elevator and the doors of the office of the West Berlin Social Democratic chairman with the words, “Jews Go Away” and swastikas.

The Social Democratic weekly, “The Voice,” speculated that there might be a link between the smearing and the fact that the party has criticized Egypt and Chancellor Ludwig Erhard for the suspension of arms shipments to Israel.
