The Swiss Government replied today to a German protest on the dissolution of the Swiss Nazi organization with the statement that the action was “entirely in consonance with Swiss sovereignty.”

The statement was made in a note handed to German Ambassador Freiherr von Weizsacker at Berne in reply to the German Government’s protest. Nazi organizations in Switzerland were ordered dissolved by the Federal Council, after the assassination of Wilhelm Gustloff, Swiss Nazi leader.
