Representatives of more than one hundred Orthodox synagogues and societies met Sunday evening at the Bialystoker Center, 226 East Broadway, to begin the practical work of the K’hilla K’doshah in New York, under the chairmanship of Dr. Jonas Simon.

After listening to speeches by representative leaders of Orthodox Jewry, the conference adopted several resolutions, among them one expressing their wholehearted support for the N. R. A. program of the Roosevelt administration and urging the elimination of Saturday as a work day.
