The Jewish National Folk School celebrated its eleventh year here with a banquet at which Sam Shapiro, of New York City, director of the Kinderwelt, spoke.

At its last meeting here the local chapter of the Council of Jewish Women endorsed Miss Bertha Frensdorf of this city and Mrs. Judah Dresner of Yonkers, for membership to the board of the council. Elections will be conducted at the New Orleans convention in March.
