The local emergency drive for funds to relieve the stricken Jews of Germany was opened here with a mass meeting at the Temple Adath Yeshurun at which Rabbi Wolfe Gold, president of the American Mizrachi organization, and James Waterman Wise were the guest speakers. Over $6,000 was raised at the meeting.
