Khaled Akhim, president of the Syrian Federation of Trade Unions, announced in Damascus today, according to a report received here, that Syrian maritime workers have imposed a boycott against all Canadian ships in retaliation against the picketing of the Egyptian ship, Star of Assuan, in Mortreal.
