Syria’s foreign minister met with a group of Hamas leaders who were expelled from Jordan last year because of their anti-Israel activities. Farouk al-Sharaa held talks that “dealt with developments of the peace process, which is stalled due to the obstinate policies of the Israeli government,” according to a Syrian official.
