Talks failed to settle disputes over how an upcoming U.N. Conference on Racism will deal with Israeli policies toward the Palestinians. Ya’akov Levy, Israel’s ambassador to the U.N. in Geneva, said his delegation may not attend the conference starting later this month in Durban, South Africa.
