The long-expected negotiations between Israel and the six-member European Economic Community on linking Israel to the European Common Market will start here tomorrow. The outcome of these talks may affect every phase of Israel’s industrial and agricultural development for years to come.

Israel’s Finance Minister Levi Eshkol arrived here today with a delegation consisting of 25 economic, fiscal, industrial and diplomatic experts to begin talks. The EEC, whose full members are France; West Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, has its headquarters here. The official negotiations are scheduled to get under way at EEC’s offices at 11 o’clock tomorrow morning. The negotiations are expected to be lengthy, detailed and intricate.
