A city-wide drive was started this week to raise the $5,000 needed to wipe out the deficit of $4,450.23, which has been incurred by the Seattle Talmud Torah during the past twenty-five years. This sum includes the back salaries of the teachers who have not been paid for the last six months. The drive is under the supervision of Herman Kessler, one of the founders of the Talmud Torah.
