Tel Aviv Gets First Part of Big Government Loan

At a meeting of the Municipal Council, Mayor Israel Rokach announced receipt of £33,000 as the first installment of the 250,000 Government loan. The Government has approved public works plans, including development of the seashore and leveling of sand dunes. Several hundred Jewish workers have already begun work on the projects.
