Tel Aviv Streets to Be Named for Two American Yiddish Writers

Tel Aviv’s Municipal Council decided to name two streets in memory of two deceased Yiddish writers, Joseph Opatoshu and H. Leivick. Mr. Opatoshu, born in Poland, died in New York in 1954. Mr. Leivick, who came to the United States from Russia, died in New York in 1962.
