Terrorists from P.A. President Yasser Arafat’s Fatah movement said they tried to kill Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Members of the Al-Aksa Brigade vowed to continue trying to assassinate Sharon. The group issued a leaflet Monday in Ramallah confirming that they tried to kill Sharon outside his home in Jerusalem’s Muslim Quarter, according to Israel Radio. The group said a five-member death squad had staked out the area near Sharon’s home, waiting for a chance to ambush the prime minister, who rarely visits the residence.
