The $12.5 million Schneerson Center for Jewish Life opened on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. About 300 people attended the June 9 ribbon-cutting ceremony. The 17,200-sq.-ft. townhouse will be devoted to educational, social and outreach programs run by Chabad of the Upper East Side.
