The American Jewish Committee held a dedication ceremony for its Berlin office. The office, the first branch in Germany of a major American Jewish defense organization, is expected to facilitate contact between Germany and American Jewry, strengthen ties between American Jews and German Jews, and monitor anti- Semitism and racism in Germany.
