The American Jewish Committee is praising a United Nations regional committee’s decision to fight “the increase in anti-Semitism and hostile acts against Jews around the world.” The decision may pave the way for inclusion of anti-Semitism on the agenda of a worldwide conference against racism next September in South Africa.
