The American Jewish Congress hailed a U.S. court’s decision on Monday to ban prayer at a high school graduation ceremony. The group had called the decision by an Iowa school board to include the Lord’s Prayer at graduations a “crude invasion of the right to be free of state-sponsored religion.”
