The annual meeting of Congregation Emanu-El, ##fluential New York temple, went on record last night as opposing affiliation of ### Union of American Hebrew Congreations with the proposed successor organization ## the American Jewish Conference.In a resolution, the congregation stated that a religious body such as the ##HC, which is the central body of Reform congregations, should not confer authority ### any organization to speak for it on matters of domestic and foreign policy affecting the interests of Jews.
