The Anti-Defamation League asked Rev. Jerry Falwell to retract his call for followers to “vote Christian” in 2008. Falwell sent a fund-raising letter to followers, asking them to “vote Christian and call America back to God,” and included a bumper sticker reading “I Vote Christian.”
