The Anti-Defamation League endorsed U.S. legislation aimed at fighting religious persecution abroad. The ADL and other Jewish groups have had reservations about the Freedom From Religious Persecution Act, fearing that it may do more harm than good. But the ADL said it decided to endorse the legislation after modifications were made. The U.S. House International Relations Committee is slated to vote on the measure Wednesday.
