The Anti-Defamation League sent a letter to French President Jacques Chirac about rising anti- Semitism in France. The ADL voiced its concern that “French authorities have remained far too passive” in the face of recent attacks on Jewish sites in France, and called on Chirac to “come forward with clear and strong denunciations.”
