The Anti-Defamation League wants presidential candidate Mike Huckabee to quit using Holocaust imagery in describing abortion. Huckabee, a Republican and former governor of Arkansas, referred to the “holocaust of liberalized abortion†at the Family Research Council’s Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C., last weekend. In a letter to the Huckabee, ADL National Director Abraham Foxman said that “such analogies can only trivialize and diminish the horror, and cause further pain to Holocaust survivors and to those alive today who lost friends and loved ones.â€
Huckabee’s office did not return JTA calls seeking comment.
