The attorney general has decided to charge Cabinet minister Saleh Tarif for alleged bribery and breach of trust. Tarif, a Druse who is the first Arab to serve in Israel’s Cabinet, is suspected of passing money to an Interior Ministry official from a Palestinian businessman who wanted Israeli citizenship.
