The B’nai B’rith International Council has appealed to Soviet Ambassador Anatoly F. Dobrynin this week to intercede for two Jewish activists arrested last month while demonstrating for exit visas. Dr. William A. Wexler, council chairman, in a letter to Dobrynin, asked the envoy to “prevent a miscarriage of justice” against Mark Nashpitz and Boris Tsitlionok, who are being held on unspecified charge after they and five others staged a demonstration outside the Lenin Library in Moscow.
