The Bush administration’s plan to produce energy without recognizing the consequences is wrong, Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-Conn.) told religious environmental activists. At an interfaith rally for energy conservation in Washington, Lieberman said that just as Adam and Eve guarded the Garden of Eden, people are trustees of the earth and have a special responsibility to the environment.
