The Cabinet decided Sunday to defer action on a proposal to build 6000 new housing units, the majority of them on the West Bank, until the financial aspects of the project are studied by Finance Minister Yigal Hurwitz’s smaller “economic cabinet.” The move followed a suggestion by Justice Minister Shmuel Tamir who said he wanted the “economic cabinet” to consider it.
