The Caribbean nation of Antigua – Barbuda has become the first country to issue a stamp and souvenir sheet to mark the 850th anniversary of the birth of Maimonides. The $2 stamp has a portrait of the famous Jewish philosopher, scholar and medical doctor. The $5 souvenir sheet has the same portrait, with a floral design decorating the border area. The designer and printer of the stamp is the House of Questa in London.
