The chairman of Yad Vashem called on the Vatican to open all its Holocaust-related archives. Avner Shalev issued the call during a conference on the Holocaust that opened Monday in Jerusalem.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
