The Czech town of Pilsen commemorated the 60th anniversary of the Nazi deportation of its Jews by inscribing thousands of pebbles with the victims’ names. Several local citizens, along with some relatives of the victims, turned out last Friday to write the names of those who perished on 2,600 small stones using special marker pens.
