The Dalai Lama met with Israel’s chief Ashkenazi rabbi, Yisrael Meir Lau, at the Western Wall in Jerusalem. The Tibetan Buddhist leader also met with the head of the Greek Orthodox church, but did not meet with any Muslim leaders. The Dalai Lama is in Israel for a meeting on interfaith cooperation.
