The Foreign Ministry denied Tuesday that Israel was in any way involved with Raoul Mizrachi, a wealthy Jewish merchant of Beirut murdered last Friday. Rumor had it, after his body was discovered near Beirut airport that he was killed by militant Shiite Moslems because of alleged connections with Israel.
