The former cantor of a New York City synagogue pleaded guilty to sexually abusing his nephew. Howard Nevison, 65, former cantor at Temple Emanu-El, faces up to 19 years in prison after pleading guilty Monday to misdemeanor counts of assault, terrorist threats, corruption of minors and child endangerment.
