The former Palestinian Authority security minister was involved in arms smuggling, Israeli defense officials said. The officials made their comments about Mohammed Dahlan on Thursday on Israeli Army Radio. The Shin Bet security service announced that it had arrested P.A. official Akram Tubasi on suspicion of weapons smuggling from Egypt into the Gaza Strip, according to Israel Radio.
