The former principal of a yeshiva in Brooklyn came out as a gay man. Rabbi Alan Stadtmauer had resigned as principal of the Yeshiva of Flatbush in June, the Forward reported. The paper quoted a letter from the school’s president, Jack Rahmey, informing parents that Stadtmauer had said he is gay and “no longer considered himself an Orthodox Jew.”
