The French government set aside nearly $100,000 for a Czech-based fund that restores Jewish heritage sites in the Czech Republic. The Zecher Foundation Fund will use the money to complete the reconstruction of a synagogue in the southern town of Polna and establish a regional Jewish museum in an unused synagogue in the northern town of Ustek.
