The General Assembly approved a recommendation Thursday from its Administrative and Budgetary Committee on the short-term financing of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon. The current mandate of the force continues until mid-December. The Assembly’s decision was by a vote of 82-16 with five abstentions.
