The hawkish National Unity Party resigned Monday from the coalition government of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. The party, which holds seven seats in the 120-member Knesset, said it opposed the army’s withdrawal from Palestinian-controlled sections of Hebron and the lifting of sanctions against the Palestinians, Israel Radio reported.
