The Health Exhibition arranged by the Jewish Health Organization at the Whitechapel Art Gallery as part of the Health Week in conjunction with the Stepney Borough Council was opened by Harry Gosling, M.P., on January 2nd, Dr. Redcliffe N. Salaman, the President of the Organization, presided.
The program of the Health Week and Exhibition includes lectures, illustrated by films, in the afternoons and evenings, at the Limehouse and St. George’s Town Halls, at special London County Council Schools and Infant Welfare Centres. Many of the medical institutions in the Borough, such as the Light Department of the London Hospital, and the London Jewish Hospital will be open to visitors during the week.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
