The House of Representatives of Georgia’s state legislature has adopted a resolution commending Anatoly Shcharansky, the jailed Soviet Jewish dissident, “for his courageous stand on human rights within the Soviet Union and here-by urge the Soviet government to allow Anatoly Shcharansky to leave the Soviet Union.”
